Gena gave me the mantra, "Labor isn't bigger than you,
It's part of you." I viewed my encapsulated placenta the same light.  The pills weren't an over- the-counter suppressant for the baby blues. They were derived from me, my most trusted source-and enriched with intention toward sound nutrition and love. What new mother doesn't deserve that assurance
